How to create Ombre Lips (tutorial for Beginners):-

Well, probably I am the last one in beauty blogger who is posting “OMBRE LIPS”. I use to follow many bloggers who keep on posting over Ombre lips but I never feel to try that unless and until I grab the lip liner from Mac cosmetics named “HEROINE”. The purple kind of shade never look good on me but at the same time the lip liner goes perfect with my flat out fabulous Lipstick from Mac cosmetics. So, apart from that matching lip liner with my favorite lipstick it has basically no use for me. But thankfully the BULB OF MY BRAIN light up giving me the idea to create “Ombre lips” and bang on…here I am…

I post the pictures of my Ombre lips yesterday…I admit I still need to learn few pro steps more before I comment as an expert in “Ombre lips” creation but as many of my readers love my first attempt and wanted the tutorial so here I am with a very easy and quick tutorial of “how to create Ombre lips” with only few products.

Mac studio fix liquid foundation NC35.

Mac studiofix plus powder NC35.

A Lip brush.

A concealer brush.

Mac Lipliner Heroine.

Mac lipstick "Good Kisser".

Here are the swatches of both lip liner and the lipstick just to give you the idea of two shades :)

Here are the step wise tutorial:-

Moisturize your lips for 15mins before you start to create your Ombre lips. 

Apply a thin coat of foundation all over your lips with a face brush. It will help to hold the lipstick on place as we going to apply layers of shades. This step is optional, you can directly apply a thin layer of face powder and start your Ombre lips. But for my personal satisfaction I use foundation and then face powder over my lips so that the lipstick don’t bleed and stay intact like I want for hours.

So, further finish in lips for my satisfaction here I apply face powder over my lips. This step will make your lips little dry but don’t worry it will help to hold the lipstick little longer.

Now first draw “X” on your upper lips with the purple lip liner. If you have thin lips outline your lips from outside as two tone lips always tend to make your lips look thin. So people blessed with broad lips, this Ombre lips is just perfect for them.

Next I complete the lining of my lips with the purple lip liner.

Now fill up the outer two corers of your upper and lower lips, like the picture below.

After filling up the corners of lips the lip will look like this.

Now grab a pink lipstick and fill the middle section of the lips. Here I use Mac cosmetics Lipstick “Good Kisser”.

 Blend the lipstick a little bit with the purple lip liner with the help of a lip brush.

Once it done just pressed the both lips with each other once.

Next take the purple lip liner once again and apply on entire outline of the lips.

And finally took a small quantity of concealer and apply it on outside rim of your lips so as to make your lipstick little prominent and you can hide any mistakes that you did while doing the lips.

Tadaaaaa…it’s done…

Okay, before I end up the post …I want to say that ”MAKEUP IS AN ART, YOU JUST HAVE TO LEARN TO LOVE IT AND ONCE YOU START LOVING IT YOU WILL NEVER FEEL BORED OF TRYING NEW THINGS”…I regret that I never tried Ombre lips before, it’s so much fun and beautiful too. But “better late than never” like I always say so yes, I will post more different ways to create Ombre lips as I found there are many ways to create Ombre lips but all I need a little bit of practice before I post anything stupid shit here…lol…:P
