REVIEW & SWATCHES OF MAC PADMA LAKSHMI COLLECTION.

Hi Everyone,

Finally, I am up with the review of MAC PADMA LAKSHMI COLLECTION. I picked up few things from this collection as this collection was focused on Indian beauties so most of the product is just perfect for Indian skin tone.

Starting with the eyeshadow palette, among the two I picked up "70'S SUNSET" a beautiful cool tone palette.

Price:- Rs. 2800/-
Availability:- It was available on Nykaa online store.

The packaging of the eyeshadow palette:-
The beautiful golden carton box looks too classy and luxe. The pink benarasi print on the carton box made it look so Indian. The palette has similar kind of packaging like the box. The golden self-design mirror case looks awesome. The quad has a mirror and no brush. The quad is sleek so it can carry easily anywhere.

Description:-

Inside the quad, there are four cool tone shades. In which two are mattes and two are Veluxe Pearls which are mac's shiny shimmers. The purple tone of shades along with that mossy green shade goes perfectly in this palette.

Shade Description:-

  •  The first shade is a matte mid-toned cool beige "Sand & Clay".
  •  Next one is "All's Rosy" a matte mid-toned plum shade.
  • The next shade is a mac Veluxe Pearl light mossy green Cardamom.
  • The last shade is mac Veluxe Pearl coppery purple Mumtaz.

My Experience:-

The Eyeshadows are soft buttery in texture. These are like a fresh collection of the quad in the world of warm palette launches. The shades are damn pigmented. They blend effortlessly on my eyes. All the shades are just perfect for Indian skin tones beauties.

P.S. the palette is still in stock in nykaa, so if you want you can grab it from there.

BLUSH DUO MELON PINK:-
Moving on to the blush duo. The packaging of the blush is almost same as the eyeshadow quad. Only the benarasi print in the carton box of blush is green. The blush duo comes up with the mirror and there is no brush in it. The blush duo is in shade "melon pink".

Price:- Rs.2800/-

Shade description:-

The blush duo has two beautiful shade, the first shade is named as Loli: a Bright peachy pink with gold sparkle (Satin) and the other one is Style: Mid-tone orange (Frost).

The shades together create a beautiful daily wear peachy orange shade which I just love it.

The texture of the blush is soft. It is very easy to blend. This blush is highly pigmented for which if you use it with heavy-handed it will look good on medium to dusky skin beauties whereas if used with light-handed then it will look good on fair skin tone too. Overall the blush duo is a versatile one.

LIPSTICKS:-

Starting with the lipstick part. In this collection, there were six shades in which I picked up 3 shades.

Price:- Rs.1500/- each.

There were 6 shades launched in this collection. The shades are:-

  • Sunset Rose:- it is creamy brown creme sheen.
  • Apricot Gold:- it is amplified peachy nude
  • Mitai Pink:- it is a matte hot fuchsia.
  • Blue Blood:- again a matte true red.
  • Nude Fudge:- a mid-tone neutral matte shade.
  • Sumac:- a deep plum matte shade.

All the lipsticks packaging are so luxe. The golden case looks classy. Each lipstick shades are super pigmented. The darker shades stain my lips a lot. The lipsticks are matte finish but they are not transfer-proof. But as these lipsticks stain a lot my lips so I can carry these shades without worrying that it might fade. All the three shades that I picked are although matte but they are quite moisturizing. They glide smoothly on lips and stays more than 6 hours on my lips. The lipsticks are totally worth buying.

Finally, Mac cosmetics bring something which is totally worth for Indians. I am super happy that I grab all these stuff from this collection.

So, that's all for today. See you in my next post.
Love Sammy :*
