Review and Swatches of Coastal Scents Revealed 3 palette:-

It is always a tough job for a lazy people like me to review a palette as I really love to play with colors but when it comes about writing a post on it I feel really bored but this palette is something that I am really excited to share my pictures and swatches along with my review.

Yes coastal scents launched three beautiful palettes which are named “REVEALED, REVEALED 2 & REVEALED 3”. The palettes are based on neutrals and it is said that they are pretty close dupe of urban decay naked palettes. Both the other two palettes (REVEALED 1& 2) are very popular and have been hailed by many beauty bloggers and you tubers.  So, among the three I thought to grab the third palette first as there are few shades which I don’t think present in my Urban decay naked palettes so I brought REVEALED 3.

And here it is…tadaaaaaaaa !!!

Price: - $19.95 for 30g for 20 pretty eye shadows.

From the brand about the palette…
The Revealed 3 palette features twenty all-new elegant eye shadows, in a stunning variety of hues and textures. Discover infinite possibilities with a combination of looks, perfect for every eye color.

Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Magnesium Stearate, Kaolin, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, o-Cymen-5-ol, BHT. May Contain: Mica and Titanium Dioxide, Silica, Iron Oxides, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Chromium Oxide Greens, Manganese Violet, Ultramarines, Ferric Ferrocyanide, FD&C Red 40 Al Lake, FD&C Yellow 5 Al Lake, FD&C Blue 1 Al Lake.

My experience :-

The palette comes in a cardboard box with magnetic lid. The packaging is sturdy but I doubt will it ever survive a fall from hand or not. I wish there is a mirror inside along with a touch up brush so that it would have been travel friendly. The palettes have beautiful 20 neutrals shades from soft neutrals to bold purples and black. One can create a bold and soft look with this same palette. The shades are pretty soft in texture. But there are few shades which have fall outs. Like the matte purple shade has good fallout. Few neutral matte shades are chalky a bit but I think all this chalkiness can be solved with a good eye primer and base. The shades are all medium pigmented except few dark shades which are really pigmented and less fall outs.

The palette is really good for beginners and for those who can’t laid their hands on urban decay palettes due to its unavailability in India or due to high price.  In short, I like the Revealed 3 palette and I am now planning to grab the revealed 2 palette as it has many rosy pink shades.

Finally it's me creating a look using the coastal scents revealed palette 3 !

So which Revealed palette you love most and which one you have?

See you in my next post :)

Stay beautiful!

Mac Ruben & Toledo collection Blush Ombre In shade Ripe Peach:-

“MAKEUP IS THE ART AND BEAUTY IS THE SPIRIT” so keeping this spirit high here I am finally at the last step of reviewing Mac RUBEN & TOLEDO COLLECTION. The last product from this collection that I am reviewing today is a beautiful ombre blush RIPE PEACH which I just brought along with two lipsticks Victoriana that I already reviewed here  and Tenor voice that I reviewed here

According to Mac about these ombre blushes:-
A powder blush featuring a shade wave of gentle ombré hues. Ultra-fine formula provides flawless, medium-buildable coverage and natural-looking radiance. Specially designed white packaging features Ruben’s illustrations of graphic lines and faces in his one-of-a-kind aesthetic.

There was 3 limited-edition Blush Ombres released with MAC’s Toledo Collection. They are:-
  • Ripe Peach: Light coral
  • Azalea Blossom: Light cool pink
  • Kindergarten Red: Crimson into pale nude
AND AMONG THE THREE I CHOOSE RIPE PEACH TO BE THE LUCKY BLUSH THAT SHOULD BE ADDED TO MY STASH….LOLZZZ.

Price: - Rs.2400/- which is just too much for a blush (I swear I would not have brought this blush if I have at least one of these kind of ombre blush in my makeup stash).

Ripe peach is a beautiful ombre blush from peach to a pink-coral shade in the pan. And when mixed together, it is a beautiful soft orange-peach shade with gold shimmer.
Mac already launches ombre blushes before which are quite similar to these ombre blushes and so I don’t think there is any variety in the blushes except the packaging but as I skipped the former launched ombre blushes so this time I was decided I will not miss the blush atleast.

The blushes comes in a beautiful matte white packaging with cute patterns of eyes and lips on it. The packaging is really cute. The blush comes in a plastic packaging which I don’t think much sturdy moreover the lid open and close very easily as it has magnetic lid. I wish it lock little more securely as I always in hurry…

The blush have sheer pigmentation. When I tried to swatch it on my hand with my blush brush I found it hardly showing on my hands so I have to swatch it with fingers to show the shade. Mac already describe that the blushes are “medium- buildable” one which I think are really good option for fair skin people  like me and for beginners who trying their hands out in blushes as they never end up look like clown.

The blush is not so soft in texture neither too chalky in texture. It need to be layered a bit to show up on my NC 35 skin tone. It stays pretty 4-5 hours before fading but if you sweat a lot then definitely this blush is not for you as it will hardly stay 2-3 hours on you.

Over in all I just love the blush no matter how pricey it is as at the end of the day the ombre designer kind of blush makes all the difference along with the limited edition packaging.

Now as the blush is a limited edition so you might not get it as it is already sold out in most stores but there are few other brands which have some affordable ombre blush and too near about same quality of Mac. Well, I will do a separate post on that as my today’s focus is this beautiful pretty blush all from MAC……!

And finally it’s me with the blush on my cheek, which is hard to catch up on pictures but it gives a very nice natural coral flush on cheek!!!

See you in my next post …till then keep blushing and stay beautiful ;)

Mac Lipstick Tenor Voice from Ruben & Toledo collection:-

Hey,
I know I am too late to write this post as almost everybody covered up this collection in blogging world and maybe I am the last one who still trying to manage to end up quickly.
As I already reviewed the Lipstick Victoriana, the gorgeous pinkish red from the same collection here .

So am just doing quick review about this lipstick only.
Price:- Rs.1600/-

I know I should do a post of two lipstick all together at once as it would be easy for my readers to find and compare but the thing is it is just an impulsive buy…yes, I was decided that I wanted Victoriana only from this collectionand so according to my plan i brought Victoriana only from abroad but in the store on the launching day in India when I swatched all the lipsticks apart from Victoriana I grab TENOR VOICE again, a beautiful classic red according to Mac which one can't just ignore.

The lipstick comes up with a beautiful packaging. The white matte packaging with eyes and lips are really pretty but the case due to white it is prone to dirt. Still I just can’t stop admiring the cute packaging. When it is limited edition I always look for something different in packaging than the regular line mostly and this collection wins the hearts of all Makeup lover in packaging.

The lipstick is matte in texture still it glides super smoothly on lips without any tugging or pulling of lips. The lipstick stays more than 5 hours on my lips and it hardly fade with time or after meal. And yes, not to forget the vanilla scent of Mac lipsticks which are just worth mentioning.
And finally its "ME" time ;).....

It’s is a limited edition for which I don’t think it is available till now in Store but the shade is undoubtedly pretty dupable as Mac is keep on launching of pretty similar shades in different packaging and in different collection so keep your eyes on Mac, who knows it might re-launched in other name in some other collection. Else it is close to All fired up Lipstick on my NC 35 skin tone.

So see you in my next post soon.
Love
Sammyyyyyyy ;)
