Today I am up with a very new launch from Colourpop Cosmetics. Colourpop just launched a new range of lipstick which is named as Velvet Blur. These lipsticks are a matte one and create a soft focus, blurring effect. The silky, velvety soft texture smooth out fine lines and imperfections, while never drying out your lips.
There were 16 shades in this range from which I picked up 4 of them.
The shades I picked are:-
ALL TEA
SUPERBLOOM
FAKE LOVE
SOLO
Price:-$7 Instagram seller Price:- Rs.650/- to Rs.700/- approx. Availability:- Colourpop Cosmetics (not available in India).
Packaging:-
Colourpop Velvet Blur lipsticks come in the same kind of packaging that they have for "creamy" and "matte" lux lipsticks (reviewed here: https://youtu.be/eQ2OC8kOZc0). So packaging wise nothing new but definitely, the quality of these lipsticks are different from the previous range.
My Experience:- These lipstick have the velvety finish. They just blur out lip lines immediately after application. They have balm-like texture but super pigmented (compare to balm). These lipsticks can be compared with Mac powder kiss lipsticks (reviewed here https://youtu.be/zk2_sx7f1ao). The quality is almost the same as Mac but the staying power of these lipsticks are little less than Mac. These lipsticks give medium coverage which can be buildable with a proper base of foundation and lipliner. The darker shades are far better than lighter shades and these lipsticks need 2-3 swipes to get opaque coverage. Overall, I have a mixed kind of feeling for these lipsticks. These are ok ok lipsticks for me but they are not so bad at all.
So that's all for today. See you in my next post. Love Ya!!! Sammy :*
So finally I take out time and up with KIKO SPARKLING HOLIDAY COLLECTION review and swatches.
DESCRIPTION:-
Gift yourself a moment of pure magic with the new SPARKLING HOLIDAY collection by KIKO MILANO. A line full of surprises, designed to put you in the holiday spirit - whatever look you desire.
Bring a sparkle to one of the most magical moments of the year:
★ Shimmering and metallic finishes
★ Precious formulas, enriched with gold
★ A modern allure and the perfect makeup for any occasion
The collection focused on the golden kind of metallic packaging. I really like the packaging as it gives holiday vibes. The outer carton box of all products is metallic golden while the product itself comes in a metallic silver packaging. The eyeshadow and highlighter have a beautiful self-design which makes the products looks gorgeous and classy.
MY EXPERIENCE:-
Starting with the lipstick, it is comfortable, ultra-matte finish lipstick. It glides super smoothly on my lips and blurs outs my fine lines of lips. The lipstick is super pigmented. One or two swipe is just enough to get the opaque coverage. It stays pretty 6 hours on my lips. I wish I picked two more shades from this range :(
Moving to eyeshadow now, there was 5/6 eyeshadow in this collection but I picked shade 01 only which is a beautiful metallic golden eyeshadow. The eyeshadow had a few glitters in it for which made the eyeshadow looks glittery when applied on eyelids. The Eyeshadow works great with fingers or wet brush. A perfect eyeshadow for everyone, every occasion.
Lastly the highlighter, I picked up shade 01 again. The highlighter looks almost the same as eyeshadow in the pan but in reality, both are different. The highlighter has subtle shimmers in it while the eyeshadow is glittery.
So, overall I love this KIKO MILANO HOLIDAY COLLECTION as they really pretty and definitely very good quality.
So that's all for today. See you in my next post. Love Ya! Sammy :*

Packaging:- The outer packaging and the cardboard packaging of the palette have the same orange color and the same African figures on it. The cardboard box is sturdy and has magnetic closure in it. It has no mirror and no brush in it.
My Experience:-
The eyeshadow palette is a really vibrant one. Starting from packaging then color combo it wins my heart. The texture of the eyeshadows when touching with fingers is little grainy but they work fine on eyes. Love the pigmentation and these eyeshadow work great with primers. They have some fallout so one had to be careful about it. Overall the palette is really affordable (during the sale) and worth buying too in terms of quality.

A little info about ColourPop Cosmetics for those who are unknown of this brand:-
A brand that grows up in the city of angels, LA. They come up with a wide range of matte liquid lippies( both matte and satin and now metallic too) and eye shadows and highlighters followed by lippie stix and eyebrow pencils and gels and so on. Slowly they are increasing their range of products and they already created much hype in the beauty blogging and in makeup lovers world.
Packaging:-
The lippie stix comes in white sleek packaging with the name and color of the lippie stix at the bottom of it. The lipstick is slim and has a slanting tip which made the application easy on lips. Due to its slim packaging, it is too easy to carry in your small purse too, so next time I am traveling I will make sure I reach out for these lippies only ;)
MY EXPERIENCE:-
Colourpop lippie stix are my all time favorite range of lipsticks. I love the matte and matte x formula mostly. The lippie stix is so slim and due to it's slanting tip it is very easy to apply on lips. It doesn't require any lipliner to line the lips as you can line and fill up your lips with this lippie stix only. The pigmentation of each lipstick is worth mentioning. One or two swipe is enough to cover up your lips.
The matte x lippie stix are super matte in texture while matte lippie stix are comfort matte in texture. The matte lippie stix have a satin finish while matte is just super matte in finish. Both matte and matte x lippie stix glides smoothly on my lips and no tugging or pulling. The matte lipstick does transfer a bit but matte x are transfer-proof. The dark shades of matte x lippie stix highly stain the lips while the matte doesn't leave any stain.
So, here are thumbs up and thumbs down points:-
