Sometimes there is some makeup which we love to the buy just because of packaging. Yes, they sometimes are damn expensive but when you are a makeup lover (badly obsessed) then most of the time you end up buying it by burning hole in the pocket.
Today I am going to talk about one such collection that I collect a few months back and it is all from the brand Mac cosmetics.
The collection was named as MAC x Steve J. & Yoni P. Collection. The collection is still available on Maccosmetics.com website. So if you get inspired or tempted by seeing the pictures of mine you can definitely check it out...
MAC x Steve J. & Yoni P. Yoni Collection is a collaboration with Korean design duo Steve J. and Yoni P., which launches in select stores and online in June 2017.
About the lipstick collection:-
A special-edition lipstick in four varied pink hues, two textures. Pinks, smoky-warm neutrals and playful, graphic packaging tap into the vibe of Seoul street style.
Usage: Apply to lips directly from the lipstick bullet or use a 316 Brush for more precision.
I managed to pick two product from this collection from Maccosmetics.com. One is a lipstick (A KILLING SMILE, the only red matte lipstick in this range). Secondly a blending brush (217SH).
A KILLING SMILE LIPSTICK:-

Among all the four lipstick that launched in this collection, A KILLING SMILE is a bright pinkish red matte lipstick in this range. It was one of the most selling lipstick at that moment in this entire lipstick collection.The lipstick comes in a cute packaging. The lipstick has the usual vanilla scent in it.
The lipstick is matte in texture but glides smoothly on lips. It is medium pigmented which require 2-3 swipes to get opaque coverage. The lipstick stays 8 hours on my lips. It highly stains my lips too. The shade of the lipstick is a versatile shade which will suit every skin tone beauties. The lipstick shade is although dupeable one but the packaging and the brand of the lipstick makes all the difference here.
217SH Blending Brush / Steve J & Yoni P:-

The brush is the cutest thing in this entire collection. The bristles of the brush are soft and smooth and it works perfectly to blends any eyeshadows.The brush is not scratchy at all (after all Mac...silly me :P ) and due to its travel size, it is very easy to carry it.
My thoughts:-
The collection is a limited edition and it not going to launch in India. So anybody planning to grab it had to order it directly from Mac cosmetics official website or through Instagram sellers which might cost you bomb in either way. So, definitely, I am not going to recommend it to anyone and neither suggesting you anything.
